Dear Second Grade Families,
I am so excited and honored to be part of your child’s journey this year! I look forward to getting to know you and your student. It is going to be a great year full of new experiences, new friends, and new discoveries!
Teaching is my passion! I strive to provide an environment that is encouraging, collaborative, and of course fun. It is my goal to create an environment that is safe, nurturing, and kind. One where friendships develop and empathy and respect are given. I want students to believe in themselves, have a growth mind-set, take ownership of their learning, and to reach their true potential. I will encourage your child to take risks, advocate for themselves, do their best, and to be a lifelong learner. Second grade is a year of incredible growth, increased responsibility, and an opportunity for your child to think critically.
