Kindergarten Registration 2023-24
Children who will be 5 years old by October 1, 2023 are eligible to enroll in the kindergarten program for the 2022-2023 school year.
Children who will be 6 years old by October 1, 2023 are eligible to enroll for first grade.

Full day Kindergarten is free in Douglas County School District, and registration for the 2023-24 school year begins now! If your child will be 5 years old by October 1st, 2023, now is the time to register him/her/them for the 2023-24 school year at Cherokee Trail.
Please complete all forms in the REQUIRED FORMS: KINDIE ONLY folder below and return to our registrar  Bri Jones / 303.387.8132.

On-line Documents
To begin the registration process, please complete the documents which are located in the REQUIRED FORMS folder below. Forms can be filled out electronically and then submitted via email to our registrar  Bri Jones -or- they can be printed after completion and delivered to the main office. Additional documents may also be required and will be provided at school.


All new students enrolling at Cherokee Trail must to provide the following documents:

  1. Birth Certificate
   a. Kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before October 1st
   b. 1st grade students must be 6 years old on or before October 1st
  2. Proof of Residency (You must reside in the Cherokee Trail boundaries*)
   a. Warranty Deed or
   b. Deed of Trust or
   c. Lease/Purchase Agreement or
   d. Current Property Tax Statement
  3. Immunization Records
 4. Including all documents located in the REQUIRED FORMS folder below

 
*Our boundaries are defined as Clarke Farms, Horizon Estates subdivision, NeuTowne subdivision, Trailside Apartments, Briargate Apartments, Creekside Condominiums, Waterford & Watermark Apartments, Overlook subdivision, Stonegate (S of Lincoln / E of Jordan only).
