About Me

b

Education has always been a passion for me, starting at a very young age. This is my twelfth year at teaching! My journey started with me earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University in 2007 and then attended University of Colorado- Denver to earn my teaching license.  After graduation, I began teaching first and second graders in Castle Rock for six years. At that time my husband and I moved to Cincinnati, Ohio where I taught fourth grade. This summer we packed up our house and made the long journey back to beautiful Colorado.  I thrive on being a lifelong learner and bettering myself and my educational practice.

On a personal note, my family and friends are my world!  My husband, Randy, and I have been married for eight years.  We stay very busy with our two kids, Harper and Camille.  My summer was jammed packed moving across country, entertaining two busy toddlers and being a "tourist" in this beautiful state. We feel very fortunate to be back to the fresh mountain air and sunshine.
