FROM THE PRINCIPAL - JOSH MILLER

The Principal Chronicles continue ... It's Wish Week here in the Chap feeder and one of my favorite times of the year. Every year, Chaparral chooses one student from DCSD to support financially. It is really a very unique and exciting opportunity for students to get involved. Typically our student council comes up with a lot of really great ideas to raise money. This year we are doing penny wars during lunch as well as themed days during the week. It is so much fun and Friday, our Student Council will attend the Chap Wish Week assembly at the High School where they will reveal the amount of money raised for the student. Last year as a feeder, we raised over 64K for the Wish Week student. It was such a powerful experience that we decided to bring over our entire student council to this year's assembly. I will be interested to see how much money we were able to raise as a feeder. No matter what, the CTE student council will never forget the experience. That is it for this week's edition. Stay tuned for next week's edition when the Principal Chronicles continue ...
