Student Council

Dear Prospective Student Council Representatives and Parents,

We are excited to offer Student Council (StuCo) this year for students in grades four, five, and six. Student Council provides the opportunity for students to become leaders in our school and community by participating in numerous school and community functions to benefit Cherokee Trail and meet the needs of our school, community and town.

Our vision for Student Council is to lay the foundation for students who want to be active leaders in their school and community. As a collective group, students will be given some autonomy in deciding what projects they would like to participate in this year. Most of all, it should be a great experience and a lot of fun. We have four outstanding Student Council Advisors: Lindsey Anderson, Aubrie Duncan, Chuck Major and Caitlin Weyhrich. By the end of the year the Student Council will have a sense of pride and accomplishment in knowing the positive impact they have made on behalf of Cherokee Trail and the surrounding community.
