Hello! My name is Michelle Murphy and I'm the new fifth-grade teacher at CTE this year. I am a California Bay Area native (Go Warriors!), but moved here from Oregon.
I lived in Portland for eight years, four of which were spent earning my degree in Education from the University of Portland and two of which were spent earning my masters in Educational Technology Leadership from George Washington University. Then, I spent the last two years in a small town on the Oregon coast before moving to Colorado. I'm so excited to be here!
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy eating, reading, playing games, geeking out over Tesla, and all dog-related activities. Speaking of dogs, I have two. Charlie, an unknown mix, is pictured above. My other dog is Blue and he is an energetic Mini American Shepherd. I love taking them for runs, walks, hikes, and to the dog park. However. their favorite activity by far is frisbee.
