CTE celebrates 2019 CMAS growth scores for our Gifted and Talented students!

CTE 3rd-6th graders identified as GT outperformed the Douglas County CMAS median growth percentile in both English Language Arts and Mathematics. Students identified for Gifted Programming at CTE had a median growth percentile of 87 (district was 61) in Math. This was the highest in Douglas County! GT students at CTE had a median growth percentile of 77 (district was 58) in ELA. Cherokee Trail uses a cluster model to support GT learners, and supports teachers in professional development opportunities, to ensure they are well prepared to meet the needs of these unique students. Way to go staff and students at CTE!
