FROM TECH - ANNA HYLTON

Now that the end of the year is upon us, we need all of our devices back at CTE so that we can get them ready for next year. If you have any District Chromebook, iPad, or Hotspot please return it along with its corresponding charger to CTE with your student by 14May21. Classroom teachers will be communicating with you about this as well.
Thank you for your help with this effort, and please contact me with any questions.

UPCOMING CALENDAR HIGHLIGHTS

FROM THE PRINCIPAL - JOSH MILLER

The Principal Chronicles continue ... Teacher appreciation week is here!!! I absolutely love teacher appreciation week. Even though I am not a teacher it is so fun to take a whole week to recognize how hard our staff works on a daily basis. Our PSP and community do such a great job in making our teachers feel special. Even in a year where everything is way different than ever before, our PSP and community found a way. Thank you very much to our staff for all that they put into helping our students grow.

On the personal side, once again, my life has taken another 180-degree turn. I found out on Saturday that my daughter will no longer be moving to SE Aurora with her mother and will no longer be attending Smoky Hill HS next fall but instead will be staying in Parker and attending Legend next fall. I am very glad that I took the time to register Ellinor in February for Legend just in case things didn't work out with her mom. The other part is that now I don't need to live in SE Aurora anymore so I am free to move again. This time I can actually choose where I want to live instead of having to be near where my daughter is. With her now staying in Parker my life just got a lot easier. Now if I can only make it to the end of the year in one piece I'll call it a victory.

That is it for this week's edition, stay tuned next week when the Principal Chronicles continue .....
