PSP

PSP exists to enrich the experience of Cherokee Trail Elementary students by seeking resources and directing the use of such resources toward educationally focused goals that address the needs of students, staff and the community.

What is PSP?

We are the Parent Teacher Group of Cherokee Trail Elementary. We are a chapter of The Foundation for Douglas County Schools. We work hard to enhance the goals and visions of our school. 

What does PSP do?

We sponsor community events and fundraisers to support Cherokee Trail Elementary. Some of the events and programs brought to you by PSP include: Games Night, All School Dance, Yearbooks, Spirit Wear, Trunk-or-Treat, School Supply Kits, Restaurant Nights, Donuts with Dads, Morning with Moms, the Digital Marquee in front of our school, iReady curriculum for all students, Buffalo Bill presentation for 4th grade, 3D printer in the LMC, magnetic letter sets for our reading specialists, professional development, guitars for music, funds for 6th grade art installations, ChromeBooks for all grades, popsicles for Field Day, and more!

PSP Grants

PSP Grants are awarded every month at PSP meetings. PSP Grants fulfill needs in our school. Staff or students, with the permission of their teacher, can fill out a grant proposal.
