FROM SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING - NOELLE DUNKER

What’s Happening in Social Emotional Wellness?

We will be practicing mindfulness by doing some mindful coloring.  When we are focused on one thing at a time, we get into a flow of creativity. We are also able to relax and calm our nervous systems by being in the present moment.

UPCOMING CALENDAR HIGHLIGHTS

FROM THE PRINCIPAL - JOSH MILLER

The Principal Chronicles continue....

We are down to our last two Chronicles of 2021. I think I may speak for a lot of people when I say that I am not sorry at all to see 2021 go away. This year has been a lot of change for me personally and just a lot of change period. As always I look to a new year, with new goals, new priorities, and new hope. Plus who doesn't love the holiday season and all of the magic that it brings?

On the school side, we have finished our winter diagnostic and we are so pleased with the growth of our students. All of the hard work our staff and students have done paid off. We are so proud of our students and you should be able to see some of the results on your student's EPR which you can view on December 18th.

On the personal side, it has been a slightly less festive season this year. Since we are moving again in February, we decided to not decorate and leave all of our stuff in boxes. It is a little disappointing but unpacking everything and then repacking everything and then repacking everything again just didn't sound overly appealing Having said that we will be headed to my parents house in Fort Collins this year so at least we will be able to spend time with family and really get into the holiday spirit. Not to mention the fact that once break begins my daughter and I will be able to spend the whole first half of break together before she heads off with her mom. I can't wait.

That is it for this week's edition. See you next time when the Principal Chronicles continues...
